I highlight a segment of #424 re Todd Rundgren, add my own message, and damn
AOL forwards the whole darn newsletter!! Boy, that never used to happen
when I had Netcom. Anyway, sorry, and I hope my boo-boo doesn't inspire a
truckload of "unsubscribes"

Now, I'm not flaming you for posting the chords. In fact, I don;t mean
this to be a flame at all. What's important to note here is that your
notation is confusing. X/Y notation usually impies a "right hand chord
over left hand bass note" transcription.

For Example: Alice Childress

Verse: g# F#/A# B E
	g# F#/A# F#/G# A#/G#
	E F# B E
	c# E/F# B
	E B/D# F#/G# A#/G#

I think you did note that in some of your transcription, but using slashes
for pairs of chords makes it quite confusing. Just something to think
about in the future.

Paul May: I just checked out your site. Very nice and clean; I like it.
(especially the lyrics pages)

Any word yet when BFF is playing after the Australia dates? The HORDE tour
hasn't come anywhere near New Orleans, and I'm dying to see them live. I'll
be at school in Durham starting this fall, and I'm *praying* for them to
play a hometown concert--seeing them in Chapel Hill would be incredible.

Any Durham/Chapel Hill locals, I'd really appreciate it if you'd fill me in
on the music scene up there so I go to school prepared...

In the last few weeks, I have seen a post saying that Robert's girlfriend
reads the Armchair and thinks we're a bunch of freaks, and now one saying
that Darren's girlfriend reads the Armchair and thinks we're a bunch of
freaks.

This leads me to a few possible conclusions.

1) They're right. We're freaks.
2) We're not working hard enough on Kate.
3) Kate does think we're freaks, and it's simply the fact that noone has
bothered to get her opinion yet, in which case, our mission is
accomplished, and we simply have an incomplete data set.

Have you done this quote before, Frank?

Hi there,
Just a little BFF story to share with all you
people. Well, as you are all most probably aware, BFF will play in Perth
at a place called the Ozone bar in 56 MORE DAYS!!!!!!! Well, to get to
this bar, you have to walk up about 2 flights of steps. Anyway, I have a
mate that's going to be a roadie for BFF when they play there (jealousy!).
Apparently, the talk of the club at the moment between all the staff is
"How the f@#! are we gonna get a Baby Grand up these stairs!". I'm sure
they're open to suggestions!
Oh yeah, and the other day I saw an advertisement on TV for a new Daihatsu
car called a Pysar! Hmmmm...
Catcha!
Jodie

P.S. Just wanted to let Ben, Robert and Darren know that all of Armchair
Oz is abuzz with excitement, waiting for your upcoming tour. I've had so
many e-mails recently from other Aussie fans just saying "isn't it cool
that BFF are finally coming out here?" Hope to meet you soon and Bring On
the 28th September!

PPS. Chuck, haven't heard from you in a while?

Oh, yeah! Where can I get a copy of WAEA? Import sections?

Thanks in advance!

At the Alpine Valley show, some people were handing out a flyer
that is good for a "Some B-Sides" cassette. Does anyone
have any info (tracklist) about this tape?

Thanks,

Did the Armchair die, or was I just un-subscribed???? Please reply in
E-Mail, because if I have become un-subscribed, I obviously won't see it.

While Bad Idea is on a Kate single, it was originally released n the Truth
About Cats & Dogs movie soundtrack. Most of you probably already know this
but for you that don't, now ya do. A note on the movie:it is so-so until in
this scene were things are hectic, Bad Idea kicks in. And the rest of the cd
is alright.thanx,
