Hey people,

do you know where the vid for "Underground" was shot? Well, I do! I was
talking to my local favorite DJs yesterday (I am the origional KFMA
groupie, I tell you, and it pays off! =-) and the one that I knew the
best introduced me to the other one as "The Biggest Ben Folds Five Fan in
the world." Suzy, who is also the progam manager of the station, said she
didn't know about that... Suzy is a huge fan as well, and we got to
talking... Apparently Darren, Robert and Ben love Tucson because they have
a big following here (thanks to Suzy who plays their music) and they
filmed "Underground" here at a place called Old Tucson Studios
(Tucsonians... would that be before or after the fire?). I told her no
tour dates for the western US were released, and she said not to worry,
BFF will come here. So, I about died when I found oiut that they were
here in my lovely city making a video!! But, I am sure they will return!

Woohoo~!@ Anyone going to the Cornell show? I plan on being
there...umm..does anyone know when tickets go on sale? Dammit it better
not sell out on me..unless, of course, it comes closer to Albany than
that, but if not, I'm there, dude.

I sent a BFF fan letter via snail mail and I begged for a BFF
sticker for my car and they sent me one, which was doubly cool because I
just got a new car & need stickers for it :) It's a 5, and it says Ben
Folds Five in the top of the 5 and then it has pictures of the band inside
the 5. It's really cool, looks awesome on a car :) I dont have much more
to say, I just wanted to see if anyone else is going to the Cornell show
(Ben Folds Five, my favorite band, playing at Cornell, which is,
coincidentally, the name of the lead singer of another of my favorite
bands). And I wanted to do this:

	What's in my CD changer?

well, i was just thinking and i kinda had this conversation with someone who
works with me. we both believe bff is one of the best musical groups to come
around in the last few years...i know they're up there on my list...it will
probably create controversy among members or maybe just a little something
for people to talk about. let's just say brick hits it super big...who knows
if it will or not...people on this list have been saying it will become the
next "the freshman" of the music world...this may or may not be my opinion!!
well, here it goes...do you want ben folds five to become super big? i mean
ben folds five is known but they're not no super group...i think the people
on this list and the band now are still unscathed by commercialism. there
has yet to be an influx of fans who know bff because of one song that hit it
super big. do you want everyone to know bff for one song that hit it big. i
mean eventually every band is ultimately known for that one song. so: do you
want ben folds five to get that commercial breakthrough or not?...i am NOT
saying that ben folds five will sell out or go "commercial"....I don't want
everyone to critique this... i am just throwing out some
ideas................THanks-

Hi guys, it's been awhile since I've posted. Anyway, I was wondering if
anyone knew when BF5 is coming to the Washington DC metro area. I am
getting really frustrated, because I am from Michigan, and they already
have shows planned there, but I have yet to hear anything about DC (
where I go to school). Ugh, maybe it's just too hardcore for the band:)
Thanks

hey, armchair oldtimer here. Been here since almost the beginning, used to
be in Halifax, then I graduated a few months ago, and now I've (shudder)
entered the real world. I'm in Lloydminster now, and I just checked my old
Halifax account (which is only up until October) and received something
like 70 armchairs and I only read the most recent one, so forgive me if I
ask a question that's already been answered. Are there any upcoming
Canadian dates? Specifically in Alberta or Saskatchewan? Lloydminster sits
exactly on the provincial border, so either province is fairly easy for me
to cover. If anybody knows, please let me know.

And I have to say I am interested in what other things people listen to,
even if it might annoy some people. So at the risk of annoying all y'all,
here's what I've been listening to a lot lately:

Sarah McLachlan - Surfacing, Pet Shop Boys - Very, Inxs - X, the Geraldine
Fibbers - Lost Somewhere Between the Earth and My Home, Beastie Boys -
Paul's Boutique, Faith No More - The Real Thing, the Jayhawks - Tomorrow
the Green Grass, and Wilco - Being There.

Hello,
Just let people discover Ben Folds Five, form their opinions, and let the
success come if it is meant to be. No matter what happens, and no matter what
people say they will always have us, right? At least I know I'll always be
there for them, loving every second of their music.

Take Care.

Hi! This is my first post, and I have a few questions/comments:

1--perhaps this has already been discussed, but has anyone seen the kate
video? What did you think? Personally, I found it quite amusing...
2--also, are there lyrics to For Those of Y'all Who Wear Fanny Packs, or is
it like a Dr. Pyser kind of instrumental thing? i really looked, but
couldn't find any. if there are lyrics, can you email me them?
3--as for the person who said they loved video, i agree: that's my favorite
song. hmm...a video for video....
4--and about hanson: ben's skills just can't match up to that keyboardist,
and Darren just couldn't compete with that 11 year old behind the drums...
