Please do not post chain letters (or anything not relating to Ben
Folds Five). They are off topic, as is any discussion of them.
Apologies for the very large issue 529, and apologies to anyone
whose mailer couldn't handle it. (I received several bounces from Juno
addresses.) This was the result of someone replying and quoting the
entire digest in doing so. If you missed it, check the Magical Archive
(http://oeonline.com/bff/list/) in a couple days.
Please keep all posts on topic of Ben Folds Five only!
BOUNCE, BOUNCE, BOUNCE
I have been getting a lot of bounced digests lately, many due to
full mailboxes (but for other reasons as well). In a few days I will
begin weeding out any subscribers whose mail consistently bounces. If you
find yourself unsubscribed, this may be why.
WHEN REPLYING: Please change the subject of your reply to something
pertinent to the message. Don't leave it as "Magical Armchair Digest,
V1 #xxx" unless your mail client won't allow you to change it.

After spending many months on the Armchair reading about BFF's various
concerts and T.V appearances in the USA, we in Australia have finally had
the opportunity to see them live, and on our T.V. shows. It has
definitely been an experience worth waiting for :} In the past, it has
been frustrating for me to be unable to contribute anything to the
discussion of BFF's concerts etc, but now that I have found my voice, I
am disappointed to find such a response as this.
I have religiously read my Armchair every day, and just skipped past the
stuff that didn't interest me, such as "Is anyone going to the ????
(enter desired town) show on the 25th?" Or "BFF are appearing on such and
such show on Thursday" or, "weren't BFF cool on such and such show"...
you get the drift. So, now you know how it has felt for me, and if I may
take the liberty to say - ALL Australians on this list.
So Pluvious, I appreciate you have a right to a point of view, please try
to allow others the same courtesy. If it doesn't interest you, ignore it.
We're not forcing you to read anything you don't want to, but seeing that
Ben, Robert and Darren were the guest programmers, it still relates to
BFF, and we therefore have every right to write about it.
Oh, and Rage may or may not suck, but apart from Recovery, it is the
only decent music show on Australian T.V. We had MTV (2hrs a week), and
it got canned. :} Rage lives on :}
So to all Australian BFF fans, if you didn't see the guys on Rage, I
taped it, and am happy to organise copies for anyone who wants it. Email
me privately okay :} Oh, and if any American BFF fans want it, I'll see
what can be done, as it would need to be converted to American format.
