TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS MAILING LIST
Send an e-mail message to armchair-request@maillist.il.fontys.nl with
the word 'unsubscribe' (without the quotes) in the message body. Please DO
NOT POST UNSUBSCRIBE REQUESTS TO THE LIST ITSELF! If you are having
trouble, send mail to owner-armchair@maillist.il.fontys.nl and I
will try to help you. To change your address, first unsub yourself from
your old address, then subscribe using your new account.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR POSTS SHORT
Now that many list members are back with us, the volume of posts will
be increasing. This makes it important to stay on topic and keep your
posts concise. Avoid the tendency to ramble, as this increases the
amount of text readers have to wade through. If you want to ramble on,
take it to IRC or the newsgroup.
Also remember to be very selective in your quoting of others'
messages. Don't quote an entire post just to add one or two lines. And
be especially careful not to quote the whole digest!!

ARMCHAIR FAQ
To help you be a better citizen of the Armchair, Mark Piper has
compiled a list of Frequently-Asked Questions just for subscribers to the
Magical Armchair. Please check it out at

Subject: DO NOT send replies to the list!!

In #775 Slay <SLAYBAMJ@miavx1.acs.muohio.edu> asks that you rank your
favorite BFF songs and reply either to him or to the list.

I receive frequent inquiries from people wanting to take polls on
favorite songs, cover bands, other favorite groups, etc. etc. This is
perfectly fine, and you may post _once_ to the Armchair your desire to
collect this information.

However, in all cases, replies should be sent DIRECTLY TO THE AUTHOR of
such messages and NOT to the Magical Armchair posting address! The
Armchair is already busy enough without a thousand people casting their
votes on the mailing list. If you want to clutter up a public forum, take
it to the newsgroup - please don't do it here.

Results may be posted _once_ to the list, or (preferably) to a web page or
mailed directly to entrants, again to conserve Armchair space.

Thanks for cooperating.

Hey all, what's going down?

I got my tickets for the NYC show - so psyched for it! Anyway, on my tickets,
it says that I have MEZZ2 seats. Does this mean that I'll be stuck in a
balcony for 3 hours? Help, please! Also, Rebecca writes ~
<<I think the band should just go ahead and cover "Time to Change." I'm sure
Robert could do the squeaky voice thing.>>
I just noticed the resemblence between Robert and Peter Brady, and now I would
do anything to see Robert do the puberty thing =) Honestly - how funny would
that be?

Okay..I was just reading the post about it being reserved seating..I looked at
my ticket and it says GeneralAdmission/Standing. When my friend went to see
Radiohead at Hammerstein, he said there were no seats on the floor.

anyways this is my first post...but I have been listening to BFF since
way back when Underground was on a CMJ sampeler...and I had the album
once it finally got to my local indie store...and have loved them ever
since.....I got NBP and was pleased with the fact that it didn't suck
(alot of besides and stuff are filled with stuff you wish the band never
released) but I did have alot of the songs in some form or another in a
rarities tape a friend made me...anyways I have never seen the band but I
have missed them at least 6 or so times and now I finally have tickets to
go see them in seattle...at a crappy dance club that aparently has
strobes and stuff going on when bands play and it general sucks...but I
don't care...anyways don't know whats been talked about to this point so
I'll lurk for awhile...but unless it has been done recently could we play
one of those whats in yr CD player games just to get an idea of what
people listen to...I'll go first...actually I'll just list stuff around
my record/CD/tape player

yo......i've never, uh, posted on this before, but to the person who
asked about BF5 available on non-import singles.......i work at a music
store, and as far as i know, from the computer that we order from, there
are NO non-import singles....no $3.49 deals. sorry. but, um, what do
you need the singles for when you've already got it on the regular
album. non-import singles are for those who refer to BF5 as "the brick
band".

	thats all.
