problem by quoting or replying to these messages themselves.
   Posts with no BFF content are off topic. So are posts of a moderating

Alright, that's unfortunate that a 92.5 announcer (I'm from Boston too)
misprounced "Brick" as "Brisk," but let me say this:
when would you ever hear "Alice Childress" on the radio? Never if you listen
here, anyway. But I'll be damned, the other day a live "Alice" was playing on
that very station. Sweet Jesus, that's incredible. And from a station that's
been playing Ben since they went on the air. Anyway, it has to be one of the
few worthwhile stations around.

And Dave Brubeck...undeniably and absolutely amazing music, but I never
thought of comparing the two. But I'm sure I can find time today to at least
listen to "Time Out" and think about it. I appreciate the Joe Jackson
comparison as well--glad I'm not the only one who picked up on how
extraodinary and similar they both are.

Later.

have been fans?! I think this ranking system is a fairly clever idea, but it
is just going to conjure up negative feelings amongst everyone. If you're a
BFF fan so be it. Quit wasting time acting like you're in elementary school.

Sometimes i wonder just where our favourite bands get inspiration for their
lyrics from... for example, you know the infamous Radiohead lyric: 'Kicking
Screaming Gucci Little Piggy'?? think about it....
Kicking = Sporty
Screaming = Scary
Gucci = Posh
Little = Baby
Piggy = Gingoire

I never imagined Radiohead lyrics could be soo deep! Anyway, this is
roughly BFF-related (spice girls, opened for bf5 :^) )
Also: is it just me and my Hanson-paranoia, or are the lyrics to 'Boxing'
really MmmBoxing??? I swear he says that 1st time round!

Just some enlightenment!

Subject: Song For The Dumped CD Single

	I just got my Song For The Dumped CD Single in the mail the other
day. I was pretty dissapointed. The cover art is exactly the same as
the 'Battle of Who Could Care Less' CD Single. The track list is:
		1. Song for the Dumped(album version)
		2.Bad Ide(demo version)
		3. For all the Pretty People
These are the same songs that apper on the Kate Single, and the One Angry
Dwarf Single.
	I don't know how much control the band has over singles, but I
can think of at least two cool ideas for a Song For The Dumped single:
	1. Make it a compilation of all the different versions of Song
	   for the Dumped. Like the Album, the Original, live, edited,
	   and live in Japaneese.
	2. Make it an EP called "Songs For The Dumped", and include alternate
	   versions of all the BF5 songs that involve heartbreak. Like
	   the "Fair" remix, and remixes or live versions of other songs.
I would by the single no matter what songs were on it, but it would be
nice to get something new or different for my money.

they've never played it and Ben says it's because the guys want to rock,
so they'll only go with a certain amount of the slower stuff..it's such a

Hey all Ben Foldians, I just had a couple questions/things to say, so I
figured I go for it.
1) Is there a Ben Folds Forum on AOL? I really think there should be come on
there are so many other bands out there, BF5 needs one too.
2) I really think that when people respond to messages on the Armchair, they
shouldn't have the topic be "Re: Magical Armchair #799" it gets really
annoying to see those...tell us what your topic is, and if it's a personal to
someone, e-mail that person, not the list.
3) I'm going to the Chicago showw on the 15th, is anyone else going? Just
wondering, maybe we could meet up or something. Also anyone looking for BF5
chicago tickets, the small ticket agency "Front Row Tickets" has them for $45
apeice.
4) I'm always in the mood to trade tapes, anyone who wants to can e-mail
me....I'm sure you can get some good trading referencs out there on the
Armchair about me if you want.
<A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/6800/bootleg.html">My
Bootleg List</A> .
5) What was up with there not being any headings on a couple of the past
Armchairs? I really like those it helps me skim through and find the stuff
thats important.
6) Ben Folds Five Fu**ing rules!!!
