I am all about BFF moving on but...I must confess... I am going to be really
upset if they don't do the whole "Pyser" thing anymore. I've been to several
shows and have bootlegs of many and nothing, nothing gets you riled up and
more excited than Pyser does. Hell, Philosophy as an opener is even better
than "Don't Change Your Plans" as far as starters go. I just want something
that's going to pump me up even more...while "Don't Change" may be a decent
song, it's far too mellow for my tastes...sigh... does anyone else agree?
That Pyser is a great way to open a show and that they should continue to
open with it?

Okay
rage played the video on Aussie tee vee on friday
night. It was the second clip played, pretty good huh?
well it basically is the guys on this tiny podium
thing and behind them there are lots on american type
brass band things . I think it kind of tracks their
or a bands rise to fame 'cause there is this bit
saying 'benfolds five signed to a major record label'
or something or other.
Ben is wearing what looks like a velvety suit thing
and darrens hair looks rather slick.
thats all..I like it:)

no wait...can anyone confirm the claim made by JJJ"s
caroline tran that tuborm would be released on the
26th not the 19th..cos I wanna go and get it tomorrow:P

i was just at the australian sony site (http://www.sonymusic.com.au)
trying to find out the australian release date for tuborm, and i
found some other cool stuff that wasn't the release date that
distracted me sufficiently that i didn't feel too mad that i couldn't
find that date. i heard and i hope that it's the 19th (tomorrow!)
anyway, there's an interview with them there, and also a little thing
for the new album that tells you what's on the australian version.
apparently, we get not only a bonus disc, but we also get (drumroll
here) theme to dr pyser on it! maybe it was just a mistake though. or
maybe that's on all the versions, i don't really know, but that's
cool if it's on there. that also makes the CD a 12 track disc, like
the self-titled and waea. groovy huh?
it also had an exact listing for the bonus disc that we get here in
australia (and nowhere else, but at least our exchange rate's really
bad so you can all afford to buy it from overseas) the disc's got 18
tracks: three songs from the live at the wireless (emaline, stevens,
and brick plus intro's to those), and 10 minutes of truth and rumours
(which is broken up into lots of little tracks and there's 12 of
them).
so, yeah, you can all go and check that out at www.sonymusic.com.au
and have a nice day

Army has entered the Radio 1 charts in the UK at number 28. Pity Radio 1
didnt play the single at all last week, as if they had done I reckon it
would have been at least 10 places higher.

Both the Philadelphia Weekly and City Paper ran reviews of TUBORM (I've
been saying it and reading it as a word, not an acronym), and both were
very good. I'm trying to remember the exact quote from one of them -
something about getting used to a really nice, expensive haircut.
Something like that.

Anyway, one of the articles said "don't fret if you didn't get tickets
to the two sold-out shows this week - they'll be back [to Philly] in the
summer." I'm hoping it's as headliners and not part of one of those
festivals, but hey, I wouldn't really mind either way. So that's for
those of you who don't have tickets to the shows (and by the way, Y100
is giving them away this week).

I just typed in benfoldsfive.org instead of www.benfoldsfive.org, and it
brought me to some weird site. It's real funky.
